Improving students’ motivation in calculus courses at institutions of higher education: Evidence from graph-based visualization of two models

چکیده

This research aims at improving students’ motivation for success in calculus courses higher education institutions by developing two models. The first model is developed to promote intrinsic motivation. second integrated with the improve and extrinsic A mixed methodology used, which includes 153 students three universities United Arab Emirates. qualitative results of 15 interviews are divided into themes including calculus, their mathematics self-concept, other supporting elements. regression analysis shows that 72.5% variation explained five variables I 98.5% II. findings this study can be utilized offer courses.
